Limited quantities available so please sign up early! Our Food Share takes place in partnership with a few other central WI farms including our sister location Badger State Farms Services LLC. We try to give you a variety of most of the items listed below and some others. Not all shares include every item listed below based off share size and growing conditions. Badger State Farms LLC – is an educational learning farm located in Wisconsin Rapids. Our farm offers animal educational activities and programs, along with other farm activities year around via appointment families, homeschool programing, and other small groups via request (Birthday, etc.). We pride ourselves for being a small scale and hands-on to be able to help everyone achieve their educational goals and allow individuals with special needs the space they need to be successful and engage in activities. 2025 Volunteer Trips locations – Fiji Islands and Africa. Other retreat locations for 2025 include: Door County, Fall Leaf Excursion in the Northwoods, and Noah’s Ark Excursion in Kentucky – contact us if you want to travel with us! For the 2025 season, our handicap accessible educational area will be completed, interactive game library - open, meal exchange nights - set, and opening our food stand. Our farm animal sales run year around with our poultry hatching season expected to begin in March. We have: Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Ducks, Turkeys, Chickens, Quail, Lambs, Goats, reservations can be taken anytime. ***All 2025 shares include 1 farm play visit (expect to spend an hour) redeemable in Spring or Fall - $5 for each person over 4 Expected Crops for 2025 include: Herbs: Dried Stinging Nettle, Mint - Chocolate, pineapple, peppermint, Chives, Rosemary, Sage - Pineapple sage, Lemon balm, Dried Mullin; Personal Care Items: Soap, Shampoo Bars, Conditioner bars, Herbal Rollers, Natural Bug repellant, Tooth bites, laundry strips, M0outh wash, Dish soap, Shirt/Book Fruits: Strawberries, Honeyberries, Blueberries, Red, gold, black, purple raspberries, Chokecherries, high bush cherries, Pears, Apples, Peaches/Asian Pears; Vegetables: Asparagus, Kale, Garlic, Garlic scapes, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Peppers, Corn, Cucumbers, Melons, Pumpkins, Squash Meats: Quail, Hasenpfeffer, Duck, (if enough request will add lamb, goat, pork, turkey, goose, and beef); Eggs: Quail, Duck, Chicken, Turkey, and Goose Other items: Maple Syrup, Jams, Sauces, Frozen berries, Breads, Sour Dough, Baked Goods, Flowers, Plant Starts – Vegetables and Flowers, Mums, Fall decorations, Goat and Sheep Milk for non-human consumption Badger State Farms Services LLC can assist with your health, dental, vision, disability, accident, life and annuity needs – in Stratford, on the farm in Wisconsin Rapids, via phone, location of choice, or at your home 715-383-7294.
